Both the Jindabyne Miss Piggies Women’s 10s and the Jindabyne Bushpigs 1st XV travel to Yass Rams Rugby Union Club on Saturday 18 July for a double-header away day. Kick-off for the Miss Piggies is 1:15 pm, with the 1st XV to follow at 2:30 pm.
BANJO PATERSON INN BUSHPIGS VS YASS RAMS XV
The Bushpigs are on the road this Saturday, heading to Yass Rams Rugby Union Club for a 2:30 pm kick-off in Round 14 against the Yass Rams XV.
Last week at JJ Connors Oval the Bushpigs put together a solid performance to get over Bungendore 31–24. Brock Freeburn and Finn Chatten crossed in the first half to lead 12–0 at the break, then Chatten grabbed his second after the restart, followed by Mathew Peterson and Hunter Pearce late in the game. The week before was a tough one — a one-point loss to Cooma 39–38 with the game there for the taking. This Saturday is a chance to string back-to-back wins together on the road, against a Yass side the Bushpigs put away 52–17 earlier in the season.
Chatten sits second on the all-grades try-scoring chart with 15 tries this season. Pearce is fourth with 10, Peterson fifth with 9. This is a forward pack and a backline with plenty of firepower, and form going into Yass is building in the right direction.

WILDBRUMBY SCHNAPPS MISS PIGGIES VS YASS EWES
The Miss Piggies travel to Yass Rams Rugby Union Club for a 1:15 pm kick-off in Round 14 against the Yass Ewes Women’s 10s.
Last Saturday at Gala Day 3 the Piggies had an outstanding day — 49–10 over Uni-North Owls in the morning, then 39–12 over Goulburn Dirty Reds in the afternoon. The week before, they knocked over Braidwood 36–25. Going back further: 54–0 against Hall, 55–14 against Easts, 38–0 against Bungendore. This side has been consistent all season and takes genuine momentum into Yass.
Eden Klemm leads the club’s all-grades try chart with 21 tries — the most of any Jindabyne player this season. Tilhaney Grainger is third overall with 14 tries and has just brought up her 25th career appearance for the club. Two milestones in one — and both players will be looking to add to their tallies on the road.
