Jindabyne is located in the Australian high country at the foot of the NSW Snowy Mountains.
The town boomed with the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Authority works in the 1950’s which saw migrants from all around the world from all walks of life and many from war torn countries and all looking for a better life.
Situated only 30 minutes to the snow fields and 2 hours to the coast or Australians capital Canberra it is the perfect spot to see the days go by. With water skiing in summer and snow skiing we can keep most happy.
Rugby pre season starts in January and the competition season is April until August. Covering the Monaro from one end to the other rugby is a full day commitment with some days spending 10 hours in the bus seat but if you did not know any rugby songs before you would by the end of the trip.
