Chatten’s first try came just before halftime, giving the home side a crucial boost, and he doubled his tally early in the second half. Halfback Dylan Johnson (#9 – Snowy Mountains Magazine) was reliable with the boot, slotting three conversions that kept the scoreboard ticking and applied pressure on Bungendore.

Despite Bungendore’s spirited fightback, the Bushpigs managed to absorb the challenge and respond when it mattered. The late stages were particularly dramatic, as substitutes came on to make their mark. Hunter Pearce (#21) crossed for a vital try in the final minute, sealing the win after Mathew Peterson (#12 – Jindabyne Butchery) had earlier broken through with a try in the 76th minute. The Jindabyne Miss Piggies Women’s 10s delivered a commanding performance at Griffith Oval 102, controlling the match from the opening whistle to secure a 39–12 victory over the Goulburn Dirty Reds Women’s 10s. Their relentless attack and clinical execution left little room for their opponents to respond.

From the outset, the Miss Piggies set a blistering tempo, with tries coming thick and fast. The bench proved vital as Tilhaney Grainger (#11 – Lean 2 Constructions) crossed the line five times, all within the first 19 minutes, stamping her authority on the game. Her early try at the 3rd minute sparked a scoring spree, quickly followed by tries from Grainger again, Sarah Farrell (#13 – Porter’s Power), and Lily Godding (#8 – Alpine Law). This rapid succession of scoring established a clear lead that Goulburn struggled to contain.

The Miss Piggies’ cohesion was evident in their fluid ball movement and sharp support play, allowing them to break through Goulburn’s defensive line repeatedly. Andrea Marshall (#10 – Macleod Trucking) was a standout performer, crossing the try line four times and proving a constant threat to the Owls’ defence. Alongside her, skipper Eden Klemm (#7 – TRC Trails) not only contributed crucial tries but also added two conversions, demonstrating her all-around influence on the game.
