16th May 2015: On a gorgeous day for rugby the Under 11 Piglets played Vikings and showed some great play early on. First try was scored by Patrick Broe with a run from the halfway line. We had some big hits and the team suffered some injuries but the love of the game made them shake it off and continue on. The game flowed better this week with more communication between the team working well in the first half. Zac Williams was on fire this week scoring the second try of the game. Sophie Cochran showed her skill with some hard tackles on the opposition. Jackson Connelly was like a terrier and chased everything. Jackson Bucknell, Byron Thake and Coen Stanford all steadying the ship at prop at difference stages of the game. Brock Freeburn, Angus Falconer and Thomas Old worked well together in defence and attack. Special thanks to Taylor Stanford coming out from Cooma to help regular coach Greg train the team. The team responded well to their combined approach to training and it showed in the game. Player of the day went to Jesse Wellsmore and Coaches Choice went to Sophie Cochran.
