Four Bushpigs teams take the field this Saturday. Two are on the road to Canberra, one heads to Bungendore, and the First XV is back home at JJ Connors Oval. Here’s the rundown.
Banjo Paterson Inn Bushpigs vs ADFA Lions
The First XV are at home. ADFA Lions are the visitors. These two sides met in Round 6 — the Bushpigs won 55–41, with Matt Jones, Brock Freeburn, and Hunter Pearce each crossing twice. Last Saturday, the Pigs put 62 on Crookwell, with Finn Chatten scoring three of the tries. He’s up to 12 for the season. Matthew Peterson sits on 65 points. Come out and back the boys at JJ Connors Oval from 2:30 pm.

Bungendore Mudchicks vs Miss Piggies
The Miss Piggies head to Bungendore to face the Mudchicks. These two sides have already met this season — the Piggies ran out 88–0 winners in Round 5. Last time out was a 24–24 draw with Cooma Devils Angels, with tries to Eden Klemm (2), Bernadette Lai, and Tilhaney Grainger. Klemm leads the club with 14 tries and 122 points this season. Grainger is right behind on 13. Keep an eye on Zollie Gravenor — she’s one game from her 50th career appearance.

Juniors
The U15s are on a roll. Back-to-back wins, and last week’s 31–26 result over Daramalan U15 Red was a strong one — tries to Nate, Ethan, Tynan, and a brace to Cedric. They make the same trip to St Edmunds this weekend looking to make it three in a row.
The U12s travel to Canberra to face St Edmunds Blue, who sit top of the ACTJRU U12 Division 1 ladder with six wins from six and a +219 point differential. It’s the toughest test on the draw. Last Saturday, the kids showed plenty of grit to hold on and beat Wests 26–24, with Marshall crossing for two tries. They’ll need that same edge and then some.
