Saturday 13 June was one of those days the club will talk about for a while. Three home wins at JJ Connors Oval, a packed Ladies Day Paddock Pass in the afternoon, and a Charity Gala at The Banjo Paterson Inn in the evening, all coming together to raise over $30,000 for Endometriosis Australia.
Ladies Day Paddock Pass
The Ladies Day Paddock Pass drew a strong crowd to the sidelines at JJ Connors Oval for an afternoon of drinks and canapés alongside the footy. It was a sold-out session and a strong start to what would be a big evening.
The Charity Gala
The night moved to The Banjo Paterson Inn, where the 2026 Charity Gala brought together players, members, sponsors and supporters for cocktail-style dining and live entertainment. Phoenix Five provided the music, and the atmosphere didn’t disappoint.
Karaoke for a Cause
The night’s standout moment was Karaoke for a Cause, which drew plenty of participation and even more crowd noise. Ruth Reed took out the top prize, a $500 gift voucher thanks to First Tracks with Montana Harrison-Porter finishing second and Chrissy Hawkins third.
Raffle Winners
The raffle was a highlight in its own right, with some quality prizes up for grabs thanks to generous local businesses and supporters.
1st prize – Sarah Farrell: Limited edition Bev & Dawn Print, 80cm x 80cm stretched and framed, valued at over $1,100. Thanks to Chloe Brinkmann.
2nd prize – Lynne Burke: $250 Rip Curl gift voucher. Thanks to Rip Curl Jindabyne.
3rd prize – Lynne Burke: 60-minute massage valued at $140. Thanks to The Massage Joint.
4th prize – $100 Jindabyne Emporium gift voucher. Thanks to Jindabyne Emporium.
5th prize – Archie Pulbrook: Jindabyne Rugby Union Club merchandise pack plus a bottle of Wildbrumby Miss Piggies 20th Anniversary Limited-Edition Pink Lady Apple Schnapps (500mL).
Jersey Auction Results
The live jersey auction was the financial centrepiece of the night. One jersey sold for $4,000 and another went for $3,500, both going to support Endometriosis Australia. Combined with the raffle and other fundraising across the day, the club has now raised over $30,000 for the cause.
