Jindabyne Rugby Union Club is proud to celebrate two outstanding community members recognised in this year’s Australia Day Honours.
Congratulations to Saskia Dutch, recognised as Jindabyne’s Young Australian of the Year for tireless efforts supporting JRUC and the wider community. The club and community are stronger because of this work, and the recognition is well deserved.
JRUC also congratulates Kirra Burke, recognised with the 2026 Sports Award for contributions to the community and an incredible rugby journey. Kirra’s homegrown rugby pathway has included representative honours and leadership across playing, refereeing, and coaching. JRUC is proud to see local commitment and ambition celebrated on a national day.
