The Jindabyne Bushpigs 1st XV showed strong fight in their 35–26 loss to Bungendore Mudchooks at Bungendore Sports Hub. Early tries from Jackson Stewart (#10 – Macleod Trucking) and Jared Cummins (#11 – Lean 2 Constructions) gave the Bushpigs a promising start, with Dylan Johnson (#9 – Snowy Mountains Magazine) adding both conversions.
After halftime, Jindabyne pushed hard to close the gap, benefiting from a penalty try in the 50th minute and a late score from Brock Freeburn (#13 – Porter’s Power) in the 76th. Despite this rally, the Mudchooks’ consistent scoring and accurate kicking kept Jindabyne just out of reach.
The Bushpigs’ resilience was clear, and while they fell short, their second-half fight offers hope for the challenges ahead.

JINDABYNE U15 55 – ROYALS U15 17
Jindabyne U15s showed great teamwork in their 55–17 win against Royals u15s at JJ Connors Oval, with solid contributions across both forwards and backs.
Tynan (#12) was a clear standout, scoring multiple tries and kicking conversions, but the whole team played their part. The forwards worked hard to create space, allowing the backs like Callum (#19) and Axle (#15) to make key runs and score tries. Mason (#11) added important conversions to keep the scoreboard moving.
Players off the bench, such as Harper (#18), also brought energy to help maintain the team’s momentum. Each try came from good support play and smart passing, showing how well Jindabyne linked their attack.
This strong team effort will boost Jindabyne’s confidence as they continue through the ACTJRU Under 15 season.

Jindabyne U12 put in a strong attacking display at JJ Connors Oval but fell just short against Easts Juniors U12 in a thrilling 32–38 contest. The team’s tries were well shared, with Carter (#4) and Carter (#4) both crossing twice, and Sergio (#10), Patrick (#3), Ines (#11), and Digby (#1) adding tries as well. Thomas (#9) contributed a vital conversion.
From the start, Jindabyne kept the pressure on, responding quickly and playing with enthusiasm. The team showed real determination throughout the match, creating chances and supporting each other in attack.
Although Easts Juniors edged the win, Jindabyne’s teamwork and energy were clear positives, giving the young squad valuable experience to build on in coming rounds.
