The 2026 season is well and truly underway, and after a fantastic day of home games yesterday the Bushpigs and Miss Piggies’ third home game of the season, and a memorable first-up outing for our Under 12s and Under 15 Boys it’s the perfect moment to give the whole club a proper look at this year’s teamwear range.
We’ve had plenty of people asking about the designs, so we thought it was well past time for an official unveiling. And with our brand new training tees having just arrived this week, the full 2026 collection is finally together.
From the playing strip to the training paddock, this year’s range honours our heritage, celebrates our mountains, and marks a milestone year for one of our most beloved teams. Here’s the story behind the designs.
Designed with the Snowy Mountains in Mind
One of the most distinctive features woven throughout this year’s range is a subtle but striking design detail: three lines forming a silhouette of the main range as seen from Charlotte Pass toward Mount Kosciuszko. You’ll find this on the playing jerseys, the new warm up shirts, and the club-wide training tee — a quiet nod to the landscape that shapes who we are as a club and a community.
The Training Tee: A Club-Wide Celebration
Every player across the club – men’s, women’s, and juniors – will train in a tee that’s been designed with real thought and a lot of heart.
The standout feature is a bold pink colourway, and there’s a very good reason for it. 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the Miss Piggies, and this year’s training tee is a celebration of that incredible milestone. The pink look and feel is a tribute to two decades of the women’s team, and the design proudly features the original Miss Piggies logo as a nod to where it all began.
Look closely and you’ll find even more detail: the lines across the front echo the Kosciuszko silhouette seen throughout the range, while the pink panel carries a subtle overhead topographic map of Jindabyne — blink and you’ll miss it, but it’s there.
It’s a training tee that tells a story. We think you’ll be proud to wear it.
The Playing Strip: Bushpigs & Miss Piggies
Both the men’s Bushpigs and women’s Miss Piggies playing jerseys stay true to the Irish green heritage that has defined Jindabyne Rugby for generations. But this year’s designs bring a fresh energy that sets them apart.
The jerseys feature a two-tone green palette — a deeper green across the body, transitioning to our classic green on the shoulders and chest – giving the jersey a more dynamic, modern feel. All logos across both jerseys have been presented in clean white, creating a sharper, more cohesive look and ensuring this year’s strip is instantly distinguishable from those that came before.
The men’s jersey is proudly adorned with the logos of Jindabyne Rugby Club major sponsor the Banjo Paterson Inn, along with long-standing sponsors Jindabyne Auto Repairs, Get Fenced, Elevate Physiotherapy, Fairidge Constructions and Rock Breaking Solutions. Additionally, we’re delighted to welcome Jindabyne Real Estate to the Bushpigs jersey for the first time in 2026, appearing on the upper shoulders following an upgrade to their club sponsorship this year. The junior teams’ jerseys are also backed by Jindabyne Real Estate, who hold the major front-of-jersey position across all junior team jerseys – a fantastic show of support for the next generation of Jindabyne Rugby.
The women’s jersey displays a special commemorative ’20 years of Miss Piggies’ instead of the usual club logo on the left chest. It again features the support of Wildbrumby Schnapps Distillery, Lean 2 Constructions, Mitre 10 Jindabyne, Snowy Mountains Laundry & Linen Hire, Moonbah Mini Xcavator Hire and The Friendly Grocer Jindabyne, all incredible local businesses who continue to play a huge role in making Jindabyne Rugby possible. We’re grateful for their ongoing commitment to the club.
Playing Shorts
The mens & junior team shorts continue in the traditional white of the Irish heritage with a dash of green to break things up. Whilst the white is not always the favourite choice of anyone doing the laundry on Sunday it’s as crisp and bright as fresh snowfall and looks fantastic.
Our Miss Piggies will again wear green shorts with the dash of Miss Piggies pink. The full green kit presents a sleek & striking outfit, often seen in national sevens strips and European clubs.
Three of our major partners are featured on the shorts across all teams – Jindabyne Sand & Gravel, Thredbo and Sticky Fingerz. We’re grateful for the significant support from all these partners.
Introducing the Warm Up Shirt
New for 2026, both the Bushpigs and Miss Piggies squads will take to the sideline in a dedicated warm up shirt on match days. Designed to mirror the playing jersey, the warm up shirt gives players and selected staff a sharp, unified look from the moment they arrive.
The key difference? While the playing jerseys carry logos in white, the warm up shirts display all sponsor logos in their original full colour — a great opportunity for our partners to be seen in full brand glory on match day.
A Season to Look Forward To
From the training paddock to match day, this year’s range is designed to make every Jindabyne Rugby player feel like they belong to something worth representing. The jerseys have already made their mark on the field, and with the training tees now in players’ hands, the full collection is finally out in the world.
