Following a huge turnout to Monday’s 2025 Annual General Meeting, Jindabyne Rugby Union Club is excited to announce the election of the 2026 JRUC Committee, bringing together a passionate group of volunteers to guide the club into a big year ahead.
After four years as President, Matt Want did not seek re-election and Damen Purcell was elected unopposed as the club’s President for the 2026 season. Matt will stay on the committee in a Sponsorship and Fundraising capacity, taking over the sponsorship role from Nicole Raine who has served in the role for 10+ years.
After six years as the club’s Treasurer, Dimity Fish handed over the reigns to Eve McGrath.
We would like to thank everyone who nominated, voted, and continues to contribute their time behind the scenes. JRUC is built by its community, and the work that happens away from the field makes everything on the field possible.
